Practice Post 2014

Here it is summer 2014, another Paris trip planned & imminent. So I've got to get back into the blogging routine & mindset.

As I've mentioned, we'll be bringing my son & his family with us to Paris.  Really looking forward to showing the City of Light to my two eldest granddaughters.  Right now they're at camp but will have a few days to pack & get ready.  Here they are, Elise on the left & Nora.

Can't wait to get to the local markets.  The Europeans treasure their fresh fruits & vegetables so the sellers bring only the best.

Hope to meet up with cousin Mort & wife Jeannette on their boat.  He's a busy guy; has lived in France for decades.

If you know a bit of French you know "mort" is the word for dead/death.  He's had to live with that for a long time & takes it all in stride.

Here's a shot cribbed from his FB page.

Paris and the Seine on a sunny day...what could be more beautiful?  That's unmistakeably Notre Dame complete with the flying buttresses.

That's it for now.
