December House That's Really a Resort

Hi everyone!

Here are some photos of our December happy place.

This is the front entrance as we drive up.  It's where we park our cars.  There's a garage in the rear, accessible thru the alley, but converted to a game room.

Just inside the gate. The house is on the left. Looking toward the back, there's the sand volleyball court and several of the hammocks. At the back is the casita with a game room & an entrance to two bedrooms.

The front door.

Looking towards the front door, the dining room is the first room you enter.

Now that I look at these pics, s
omehow, not all the pics I took were saved, some are missing. I can't explain that.

Anyhow, this is a view of the kitchen taken from the entrance to the living room, behind me. Wonderful kitchen, very large fridge, glass top stove.

Turning 180º to see two views of the living room behind me. There's a step up to get into it.  The house has a step in several places, we're all capable of doing them but I worry about tripping.

Looking to the right, the pool is the view from the windows. Note the step, lower right.

Now panning slightly to the left, that's the same table.

The huge master bedroom & bath are just off the kitchen/dining room, but no surviving photo.  It's on the other side of the wall in the pic just above.

I know I took a shot, but it's not on my phone.

Adjacent to the master bedroom is the laundry room. That's the dining room table.

Next, on to the hallway with a bathroom and three bedrooms. Again, I took this shot but it's not here.

First there's the bathroom, here's the only one that survived.

There are two sinks.

This bedroom has a queen bed & a bath.  I'll probably stay here.

The second bedroom has a queen and two bunkbeds.

The third is a bit unusual, it had a free standing twin and a bunk bed, queen bottom, twin top.

A corner of the twin is in the lower right.

That's it for the main house.  On to the pool area, long and narrow. To the right is the living room wall. To my immediate left, out of the photo is a hot tub.  Note the huge grill. The slide has water running down.

It was late in the day, so lots of shadows.  Walking to the opposite end and looking back, the pool slide is behind me & to the right.

Yes, the place is nestled in some foothills. Lots of lounge chairs.

I propose a couple of pool safety rules.  Noah & Sabra have an adult present.  And no one swims alone, at least two adults in the pool.

Now for the rest of the yard.  This is the fire pit looking to the entrance to the casita bedrooms.

Now, standing with the firepit behind me, looking towards the front of the property. The beach volleyball court. The house is on the right. At the back of the pic, not easily seen is an outdoor table, chairs & two hammocks.

How could we possibly stay in a place without a putting green??

Or without an outdoor shower?

Now, on to the casita! First the garage turned into a game room, two views.

From the entrance.

With the garage door behind me, looking towards the front of the room.

Now to the sleeping area of the casita with its own door.  Walking into the first room, two beds, two views plus a corner with a TV, small fridge & microwave.

And lastly, behind a sliding door, a bedroom and bath.

That's it!  A super duper place.  Can't wait for you all to be here!!

Love,

Dad
